PolarPro's Peter McKinnon Signature Edition 0.6-1.5 67mm Variable ND Filter is designed for lenses with a 67mm front thread and provides 2-5 stops of exposure reduction. The density of 0.6 to 1.5 creates a darkening of the whole image, which allows a larger aperture or a slower shutter speed than usual. The degree of density is easily controlled by turning the front filter ring, allowing the additional exposure time required to be pre-determined. By slowing down the exposure time, you convey motion or increase blur. By increasing the aperture, the depth of field of the image can be more easily controlled. For easier and repeatable control of density settings, the front ring features a numbered scale of aperture values, as well as haptic feedback to feel a click when a number is reached, without having to look at the ring. The ring has side knurling for a secure grip and to allow quick and precise positioning, and it is designed to prevent rotation beyond the stop values engraved on it.
